Solids are by far my favorite when working on quilts. I was inspired to create this bundle by pulling solids I used on my latest pattern Flower Shop. The 70's vibe these colors bring are a fun palette for spring that can also transition easily into fall. I also love how well each color complements one another.
Colors: (top row from left) 121-117 Salmon, 121-118 Verbena, 121-066 Lipstick, 121-142 Goldenrod, (bottom row from left) 121-059 Bronze, 121-130 Cumin, 121-077 Moss, 121-071 Green Sheen
It has been a rainy, miserable winter in Georgia (already my least favorite season), so as the spring flowers have begun to open (restoring my hope that I will finally get to wear tank tops and go swimming again soon), I've made note of their colors: purple for the crocus, yellow for daffodils and forsythia, cream and peach for the dogwoods, oranges for the tulips and lingering pansies, and blues for the cloudless day and night skies that are slowly coming back. In short, these are the colors around me making me "wake up" from the laziness of winter and feel excited for the adventures ahead.
