About the Artist

Carrie is an artist, illustrator, and appreciator of beautiful things. She grew up on a farm in central Missouri where she spent her childhood picking bouquets of wildflowers and exploring the wide open prairie under a big cloud-filled sky. She still loves visiting wild and beautiful places, watching thunderstorms roll across the prairie, and sleeping under the stars. The colors of the landscape, the changing seasons, and the beautiful complexity of the natural world fuel her work.
