Emmie Goldenbaum (aka Emmie K) holds a BFA in Textile Design and has worked professionally within the fabric industry for over twenty years. Making the most of her experience in many roles in the field including  including Creative Director of Marketing, Graphic Designer, and Surface Designer, Emmie currently runs her own boutique graphic design firm, Silver Hollow Creative, in addition to her surface design brand, Emmie K.  

Emmie is inspired by the textile design of Alexander Girard, the Bauhaus movement, the art of Louise Bourgeois, and the work of the Quilters of Gee’s Bend. She loves the organic process of creating a design that often begins as a simple mark and grows steadily into a collection based on intuition, exploration, and problem-solving.
