About the Artist
Julia Simons is the artist and founder of Seek to Spring, a vibrant design studio that creates delightful works of art using bold colors and botanical themes. Based in downtown Seattle, Washington, Julia enjoys bringing a sense of imaginative flora to life, which may not always be found in urban settings. She was introduced to quilting at a young age, which created a strong passion for the fabric industry. This eventually led to her earning a BS in Apparel Design and Production in 2014. Digital design has become extension of her education and a true place of comfort that she is excited to share with others!
In addition to her love for surface pattern design, Julia spends her free time crafting polymer clay jewelry and exploring the more natural side of the Pacific North West.
